Monje first outright win in GSeries

03/02/2016

In a career that has led to very different results two weeks ago, GSeries 2016 have lived a great day at the Circuit d'Andorra, with two extra races competed. Cars have turned in the opposite direction than usual, which has possibly led this resurgence of new names at the top of the standings.

In G3, Carlos Ezpeleta and tuned Ford achieved the best part in the two series ahead of Nil Solans (Peugeot) and Gerard de la Casa (Mini), while in the Final B and won Ezpeleta A magnificent house, no less than ahead of the leader of the GSeries, Nil Solans, so the first race on Saturday took her deservedly Madrid pilot, while the second preceding Andorran was great Roger Joseph (Citroën) , author of a great morning.

The second race of the day (G4), saw the reaction of Nil Solans, who after suffering engine problems in the morning resarcía sleeves in this Series G4 achieving the best score in front of Fernando Monje (Mitsubishi) and Pilot rallies Pepe López (Peugeot). The finals were dominated respectively by Jose Roger, certainly one of the pleasant surprises on Saturday, and Carlos Ezpeleta, although the winner of the evening race was the former champion European Touring, Fernando Monje, who achieved his first absolute victory in the GSeries beating smallest Solans and again Joseph Roger.

Change in leadership in 2016. Carlos GSeries Ezpeleta, after a great performance and drawing problems Nil Solans, took the lead, but after what has been seen in the four races so far held the championship will be a fight to G6 between these two men, not to mention at all to Fernando Monje Jan Solans and even in a more uncertain than ever championship.

In 'The Duel', Marcel Besolí expired at Jaume Jou and Edgar Montellà exceeded Ingrid Rossell, both the minimum and after a really brilliant performances. Sports evolution was noted compared to the previous two tests by four young pilots Automobile Club d'Andorra.

Bye for GSeries 2016, they will return to the final two races on 13 February.
