6th and penultimate round of the International GT Open.

The International GT Open faces the final straight with the dispute this weekend's penultimate race in Monza. With still audible echoes of the double victory of Austria, the BMW Team Teo Martin faces this Italian event with its two BMW M6 GT3 ready and willing to continue the streak. Fernando Monje, who along with his partner Gustavo Yacamán achieved in the Red Bull Ring a magnificent victory in the second race, he traveled to Italy with the intention of achieving a good weekend.

Fernando Monje 'I'm raring to Monza is one of my favorite tracks, the last time I raced there I managed an unexpected podium in race TCR. It is a circuit where overtaking is possible and in which I find particularly comfortable. The two curves of Lesmo, Parabolica and even the Ascari variant are safe places where our BMW M6 will behave perfectly. Usually, Monza is a good track for our car and that we can check in free trials'.

Looking GT Open, Monk believes that 'Monza is a crucial appointment for both us and our competitors, it is more likely that the title is not decided until Barcelona, â??â??but what seems clear is that Monza will very few candidates we hope to be us one of them! I am optimistic and although I am cautious not exaggerating if I think we go for the championship, the goal is to win, do a good weekend ... and get to the Circuit with options'. In the interim the International GT Open three-way tie between riders BMW Team Teo Martin: Fernando Monje and Gustavo Yacamán have taken a big leap and have placed third with 94 points, only 4 of the second position, while Miguel Ramos is fourth but with the same 94 points as their peers, a just reward for some pilots who completely dominated the race held at the Red Bull Ring. In addition, Monje-Yacamán are second in the Pro-Am and BMW Team section Teo Martin leads with clearance between the teams.

The weekend program includes two rounds of Monza 1 hour free practice for Friday 30, although the competition will be played the next two days. During the first Saturday 1 Rating (10.50 to 11.20) and the consequent first Carrera, 70 'from 1630. Sunday 2 the second grade (10.10 to 10.40) and the second Carrera, 60' will be held, starting at 14.15h.
