Joaquin Verdegay, Vice RFEDA, collected from the hands of Fernando Monje the award certifies to Spain as Champion FIA European Touring Car Cup-Nation's Cup, a recognition achieved thanks to the flawless performance of the pilot Barcelona in the UEFA European Touring Car which was awarded last June. Fernando took the 2012 Champions Gala held on February 8 in the Spanish Olympic Committee to deliver the trophy to the highest body of motorsports in the country, in an act that could not be present Carlos Gracia to be operated on the same day.
